Recently, Huawei started EMUI 11 closed beta recruitment for the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 RS, and Mate 20 x 5G in China. Now the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 RS smartphone users who have successfully registered in the EMUI 11 beta testing are now getting the second EMUI 11 update with software version 11.0.0.122.
Note that this update doesn’t include any changelog or improvements only kick off a new EMUI 11 version. As per the EMUI 11 global schedule, the Mate 20 series users will receive EMUI 11 in the first quarter of 2021.
Notes:
- Currently, this update is rolling out in China.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
HOW TO UPDATE:
Via Settings -> System & updates -> Software update -> heck for updates -> Download and install.
Via Support app -> Service tab -> update -> Check for updates -> download and install.
