Huawei has recently sent the official version of EMUI 12 i.e. stable EMUI 12 update for the Nova 5T users and now according to the information, the EMUI 12 rollout for the Mate 20 is now available with version number 12.0.0.132. As always, the beta testers will preferably receive the new firmware in order to find any minor errors. But in a few days, it will start for everyone else too.
But you should also be patient with the Mate 20, not everyone can get the update on the first day. The distribution usually takes about three to four weeks and if you are unlucky and end up at the end of the list, you unfortunately have to wait a little longer.

Notes on Updating
This update will not delete your personal information. However, it is recommended to back up important data before updating.
Some third-party apps that are not compatible with EMUI 12 may not work properly after updating. It is recommended to update these apps to the latest version in the app store
If you encounter problems during the update, call HUAWEI customer hotline or visit a HUAWEI customer service center.
The home screen layout may change slightly.
The system version can be rolled back to the official version EMUI 11 in HiSuite. If you roll back the system version, all your personal data will be deleted. Therefore, back up your data beforehand.
