Huawei Mate 60 series to include 5 models

Huawei launched the Mate 50 series at the end of last year. The Chinese tech giant brought amazing features like Satellite connectivity and powerful cameras.

Now, the rumours and leaks of the Mate 60 Series have revealed key information. The flagship line is reported to debut in October this year. Several Chinese tipsters claimed that the Huawei Mate 60 series is expected to launch this October. Interestingly, the tipster seems to suggest that the upcoming phones will feature 5G connectivity.

Now, a reliable Twitter tipster RODENT950 confirmed that this year Huawei will launch 5 models under Mate 60 Series. But, the exact model names or numbers are yet to be known.

Huawei Mate 60 series may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 4G chip. However, this chip will not come with the 5G baseband. Based on TSMC’s 4nm process, the CPU part adopts a brand-new 1+4+3 eight-core architecture. This includes a super-large core Kryo Prime core (based on Cortex-X3), and the main frequency of the CPU is 3.2GHz. This can provide high single-thread performance. There are also four performance cores running at 2.8GHz for better handling of multi-threaded workloads. Finally, there are three efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
