Huawei Nova 7i grabbing January 2021 security update

Huawei has started pushing out a new software update for the Nova 7i. The latest software update comes with a security patch released in January 2021. The patch improves the system security by fixing 4 critical, 1 medium, and 25 high levels of CVE’s. Huawei Nova 7i January 2021 security update rolling out with version (EMUI 10.1) 10.1.0.298  with an update size of 172MB.

Download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates.

Also, you can request this software update via the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
