Huawei Nova 8 Series to launch with a unique camera design

The Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro smartphones are officially launching on December 23 and will come with a new camera design and hardware. A well-known Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation leaked the Nova 8 design which shows the company will bring a unique rear camera design. According to the render, Huawei Nova 8 smartphone will be the first device in the company’s portfolio to get a new design.

The camera bump includes four cameras and an LED flash. On the front side, it has an ultra curved display with a wide punch hole to house dual selfie cameras.

The Noa 8 Series device is going to be the first Huawei smartphone to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. Note tht only Nova 8 Pro will come with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Huawei Nova 8 series to be equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 985 chips, which are the same as the Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro; in addition, Nova 8 uses a 90Hz refresh rate, the screen will be OLED curved screen, while Nova 8 Pro has a 120Hz ultra-curved screen.

As far as the camera’s concern, the Nova 8 at the front to come with 32MP and at the rear side it has a 64MP high-definition four-cameras, while the Nova 8 Pro uses a front 32MP dual-camera to support front and rear dual scene recording; the nova8 has a thickness of 7.64mm, and Pro is unknown; both models support 66W super-fast charging and gets 8GB RAM.

Huawei Enjoy 20 SE is said to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the device will sports a 6.67-inch 2400*1080 resolution LCD single-hole screen, for selfies the Enjoy 20 SE will get a 16MP camera, and at the rear side it may get a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP. It adopts a side fingerprint recognition solution, a built-in 5000mAh battery, and supports 22.5W fast charging.

The release of Huawei’s Nova 13 series mobile phones has been postponed, and the Nova small folding phone is tentatively scheduled for August 2024.

Huawei’s new smartwatch passed certification

Huawei’s new watches with model numbers VLI-B29 and VLI-B19 have passed the domestic CQC certification, are equipped with a charging base, and support 18W charging.

As per the certification details the watch is manufactured by Weifang Jingwei Gaoke Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. The product is called a smart watch, supports audio storage and playback functions , and is sold without a power adapter.

The two watches (VLI-B29, VLI-B19) are similar in model specifications, functions and accessories, and are expected to be products of the same series; in addition, the charging base model of this series of watches is CW03, which is consistent with the pre-installed charging base of Huawei WATCH 4.
