Huawei announced three new smartphones at the online-only event last year, as it took the wraps off the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and the P40 Pro+. The phones were launched with the EMUI 10.1 and since then all devices had received a number of updates in the form of EMUI 10.1, EMUI 11, and more. Now, it’s time for the HarmonyOS update, the company has started rolling out the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.223 update for the P40 Series. This update adds February 2022 security patch.

Huawei P40 Pro 5G on the rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture; a 40-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a 12-megapixel camera with an f/3.4 aperture, and a Depth camera. It has a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Huawei P40 Pro 5G runs EMUI 10.1 is based on Android 10 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via Nano Memory Card card. Connectivity options on the Huawei P40 Pro 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, Infrared, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G.
