Huawei patents MatePad 8-inch tablet with dual speaker

According to the LetsGoDigital report, Huawei had filed a new patent with the CNIPA back in 2019. The new 8-inch tablet patent images show everything about the tablet. One speaker is placed at the top and bottom. This differs from the Pro model, which has a quad-speaker sound system.

The USB-C connection can be found on the bottom as usual and on the right side, several physical buttons are visible, including the power button and volume keys. The left side provides access to the SIM compartment.

This new tablet will not come with a punch-hole camera. Instead, the front camera will be placed in the top screen edge. On the back, we also see one camera with a flash directly below.

The images shown are from a design patent. Huawei Technologies filed a patent in CNIPA for a new tablet design in its home country China in May 2019. The documentation was released on April 14, 2020 and includes 15 color renders of the unannounced tablet PC.

The Huawei MatePad T already received the WiFi certificate last month. There is a total of 6 models in the upcoming schedule. The differences we may get in a configuration and WiFi / 4G LTE / 5G support, among other things. The new tablet will run on the Android 10 operating system, in combination with the EMUI 10 user interface. These tablets will not get GMS.
