On November 21, 2023, the Chinese tech giant Huawei and MTN South Africa won the “Sustainability Champion of the Year” at AfricaCom. AfricaCom is one of the largest annual events in the telecommunications industry in Africa.
Both companies are working together to launch a flexible and intelligent green site solution. Huawei’s latest advanced OWS+NetEco intelligent O&M platform is set to achieve optimal energy efficiency by using AI technologies for solar, mains, and diesel power supply.
Huawei also supporting MTN in building a green and simplified infrastructure, further promoting MTN’s Net-Zero strategy.
