According to the resumes published on Huawei’s official website, Xu Zhijun, Hu Houkun, and Guo Pingjun are Huawei’s vice-chairmen and rotating chairman, who joined Huawei in 1993, 1990, and 1988, respectively. Xu Wenwei is the current director of Huawei and the dean of the Strategic Research Institute. He joined Huawei’s R & D department in 1991 to lead the development of Huawei’s first-generation office program-controlled switches.
