HarmonyOS runs on more than 700 million devices
Huawei, the Chinese tech giant has recently launched the all-new HarmonyOS 4 version for its eligible devices. The company has its own ecosystem called HarmonyOS for its several products including phones, home appliances and more.
During the HarmonyOS 4 launch event, the company said that more than 700 million devices now use this system. The head of the company’s consumer business, Yu Chengdong, shared that 2.2 million people are working on making HarmonyOS better.
HarmonyOS, also known as Hongmeng in Chinese, is a type of software that can run on different gadgets like smart screens, tablets, watches, and cars. They first started it in August 2019.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 receiving August 2024 security patch
Huawei has recently started rolling out the August 2024 security software update to the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet in Europe. As per the update changelog, the latest update comes with version number 4.0.0.140.

Huawei Mate X3 is now grabbing the August 2024 security update. The update is now rolling out with the version EMUI 14.2.0.149. As per the changelog, it is rolling out in Europe.

EMUI 14.2 rolling for Mate 50 Pro, P60 Pro and Mate X3
Huawei has now started rolling out the EMUI 14.2 firmware update to the Mate 50 Pro, P60 Pro and Mate X3. The latest software update for the Mate 50 Pro is rolling out with the build number 14.2.0.139 while the P60 Pro and Mate X3 received the firmware with the numbers 14.2.0.139 and 14.2.0.139 respectively.
