Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta testing was rolled out for the Honor 30 Pro smartphone users in May this year and the info also revealed that the Honor 30 series, V30 series, and Play4 Pro will be upgraded to the Huawei HarmonyOS soon.
Ahead of the official HarmonyOS update, the company has started sending the May 2021 security patch update to the Honor 30 and V30 series users in China. The latest software update comes with version numbers 4.0.0.178 (Honor 30 Series) and 4.0.0.182 (V30 Series).
The May 2021 security patch update includes 3 critical, 10 high, and 4 medium levels of CVE. The CVE system tracks publicly known security vulnerabilities and exposures in publicly released software packages.
As an independent brand now the company is working on bringing new products with great capabilities and performance. Honor CEO Zhao Ming at Honor’s development goals in an internal communication event stated that Honor may be the largest startup company in China. Zhao Ming said that Honor wants to hit the high-end market and will bring new products soon.
