Recently, Honor 30 Series and V30 Series (Honor 30 Pro, 30 Pro+, Honor V30, and V30 Pro ) phone users received the HarmonyOS 2.0 version 126.96.36.199 update upgrading from 188.8.131.52. That firmware update not only brought September 2021 patch but also included the multi-camera mode for shooting purposes.
Now, the company has started rolling out the July 2021 security patch update for the Honor 30 users on Magic UI 4.0. To install this update all you need to install is the latest version Magic UI 184.108.40.206. This security update includes the CVE announced in the July 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 28 Medium and 21 High levels of CVE’s.

Honor 30 Specifications:
Honor 30 runs on Magic UI 3.1.1, based on Android, and features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) hole-punch display. The phone is powered by the Kirin 985 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The quad camera setup on the Honor 30 phone includes a 40-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/3.4 aperture, and a last 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The telephoto lens supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom.
