Huawei Mate 50 series is expected to be launched in September 2022. The series will include three new phones, Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition.
Some Weibo tipster has already shared core specifications of the standard variant of the Mate 50 series. Huawei Mate 50 is said to launch with an OLED display, the manufacturer will be BOE.
The phone will launch with a size of 6.28 inches to 6.38 inches, a resolution of 2800*1225, and support for a 120Hz high refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Mate 50 may be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, but only supports 4G network, equipped with 8GB starting memory, with 128GB and 256GB storage space options, pre-installed with HarmonyOS 3.0 OS.
In terms of imaging, Huawei Mate 50 will be equipped with a 50 MP triple-camera module. It is worth mentioning that Huawei will also carry its own imaging brand XMAGE for the first time to replace the previous Leica.
