Huawei P60 and Mate 60 may launch with HarmonyOS 4 and Snapdragon Chip

Huawei’s latest Mate series smartphones – Mate 50 Series have performed well in the markets and also achieved great response in terms of shipments. The Huawei Mate 50 Sale has given confidence to the company, so next year’s mobile phone product line will definitely be even more exciting.

In Q3 2022, Huawei’s mobile phone sales increased with shipments of 8.6 million units, a year-on-year increase of 48.3% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 34.4%. Driven by the launch of new products such as the Mate 50 series, the total shipments of smartphones in the Chinese market in the third quarter also achieved a quarter-on-quarter growth of 6%.

As per the latest report from the supply chain, the upcoming Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series will also see a jump in sales. The former is expected to be released around March 2023 and the latter will still be around September 2023.

Sources in the supply chain revealed that these two Huawei high-end phones will be equipped with Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon chip, but due to other factors, the phone itself will not provide 5G network support, and it is still a 4G model.

In addition, both models will also be equipped with the latest HarmonyOS system, which Huawei has previously announced will be blessed by HarmonyOS 4.0.
