Huawei has started rolling out the new October 2022 firmware update for the Mate 50 Pro in the global market. According to the latest update changelog, the company has improved the search experience and the update is rolling out with the firmware version 22.214.171.124.

Huawei’s Mate 50 Pro released in overseas markets with 4G functionality. The overseas version uses the EMUI 13 system customized based on HarmonyOS 3.0.
In terms of configuration, the overseas edition is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4G chipset and has a 6.74-inch OLED screen protected on the front and back by Kunlun Glass’s super anti-fall materials.
For better camera experience, the Mate 50 Pro uses a combination of a 50MP camera (f/1.4~f/4.0 aperture, OIS optical anti-shake) + 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture) + 64MP telephoto long-focus camera (f/3.5 aperture, OIS optical anti-shake). The smartphone is packed with 4700mAh and supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
