HarmonyOS Update Status: These devices have received stable and beta so far

Huawei’s HarmonyOS comes with several new features that help your device run smoother and faster. After years of speculation, Huawei finally launched its HarmonyOS for mobile devices in June this year. The good thing to note about, this OS will also power Huawei’s entire ecosystem of mobile, wearable, and smart-home devices.

If you dint remember the event no worries, let me share with you a quick recap of the HarmonyOS 2 event. Huawei revealed HarmonyOS alongside a series of MatePad tablets and Watch 3 wearables.

Huawei has two different operating systems that it calls “HarmonyOS.” First is the IoT and smartwatch version of HarmonyOS, which is based on Huawei’s LiteOS and is open source. The second version of Harmony OS is for phones and tablets and is a fork of Android and uses the Linux kernel.

Recently, at the Huawei Nova 9 Series press conference, He Gang, chief operating officer of Huawei’s consumer business and president of Huawei’s consumer business mobile phone product line, announced that the number of users of Huawei’s HarmonyOS upgrade has exceeded 120 million.
