Huawei built 200,000 5G base stations in China, Expected to reach 800,000 by the end of 2020
At the Huawei Global Analyst Summit 2020 (HAS 2020), Mr. Gan Bin, Vice President of Huawei’s Wireless Network Product Line says, Huawei had built 200,000 5G base stations in China and the number is expected to hit 800,000 by the end of 2020 in more than 340 cities.
According to the information published on Huawei’s official website, they began to invest in 5G research and development in 2009, and have invested a total of 4 billion US dollars in the past decade. There have been many breakthroughs in 5G core technology, Huawei’s 5G basic patents in ETSI and 3GPP 5G, the number of standard proposals ranked first.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 official announcement
