Huawei P40 series will have 3 models

According to a leaker (@RODENT950), the Huawei P40 series will have 3 models.  In another tweet, he said the camera design may remain unchanged for the base models (standard and Pro), retaining the design of the P30 Pro while the third model has the rectangular camera design.

All the three Huawei P40 flagships should be powered by the Kirin 990 5G but the base model may come with the Kirin 990, the processor without an integrated 5G modem.

Another Tweet:It is possible that the camera design might still be more like a P30 pro than a new rectangle for base models and third model came with that rectangular camera design.

The company’s next flagship smartphone, the P40, and P40 Pro, will be launched at the end of March 2020(Paris). Recently, the Huawei P40 specifications also leaked, Huawei P40 includes Kirin 990+ Barron 5000 dual 7nm chips, 32 MP in front in 3mm hole, and 40 MP + 20MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto + TOF.

The Huawei P40 will support 40W wired fast charge, 27W wireless fast charge. Also, it is cleared that the P40 series will support dual-mode 5G but it will use Kirin 990+ Barron 5000 or Kirin 990 5G SOC yet to be announced. Considering that the entire Mate 30 series 5G version is equipped with Kirin 990 5G SOC, it is not ruled out that the P40 series may also be equipped with Kirin 990 5G SOC as standard.
