Honor MagicWatch 2 getting a new software update in India. It brings automatic detection of workout mode and a function for tracking the menstrual cycle. This update is also rolled out for the Huawei Watch GT 2 at the beginning of this month. The Honor MagicWatch 2 latest firmware update brings version 1.0.8.16 and the package size is 21.61MB.
Honor MagicWatch 2 version 1.0.8.16 Changelog:
- Adds a function that can automatically detect when and in which training mode you are training.
- Adds a function for tracking the menstrual cycle and predicting the period. Update the Huawei Health app to the latest version to test the function. This function is only available on Android devices.
Note:
The update progress in the app is just for transferring the update package, it still needs to be installed on the watch for the update to complete. The watch needs to have at least 20% battery to update.

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose the latest software update, follow the onscreen instructions to update your smartwatch.
