Confirmed: No more updates for Honor 7X

Honor 7X users here is sad news for you, the updates for the device has been stopped due to hardware specifications as the motherboard cannot take more updates hence it is a risk for rolling the updates which may harm your device.

Honor 7X is the first phone in Honor’s X series to sport an 18:9 Full View display. It sports a 5.93-inch display with FHD+ resolution. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC and has 4GB of RAM onboard. It is available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and both are expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.36 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A53 + 1.7 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A53) processor. It measures 156.5 mm x 75.3 mm x 7.6 mm and weighs 165 grams. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 77.01 %.

On the camera front, the buyers get a 8 MP f/2.0, Wide Angle Primary Camera(27 mm focal length) and on the rear, there’s an 16 MP + 2 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 3340 mAh battery.
