According to Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 global schedule, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is said to get an update at the end of June 2020 but the Mate 20 Pro has already started receiving the latest update in Bulgaria. From the changelog, it can be seen that new dynamic AOD, Fingerprint Animations, Multi-Window feature, Multi-Device Collaboration, Huawei Assistant Today, and Huawei Browser app are coming to Mate 20 Pro with the update, along with system optimizations, Battery Smart Charge mode, and June security patch also in the list.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro EMUI 10.1.0.270 (C432E7R1P5) Changelog:

This update introduces EMUI 10.1, designed to deliver a finer-tuned user experience with a higher performance and a more secure system. This operating system, based on distributed technologies, enables you to seamlessly interact across devices and enjoy a diverse range of practical features, including mobile office, in different scenarios. Fingerprint Animation:

Adds two fingerprints unlock animation options. Go to Settings > Biometrics and passwords > Fingerprint ID, input your lock screen password as required, then touch Fingerprint animation to select your preferred option.

Always On Display:

Adds a tri-dimensional clock style option to Always On Display. Go to Settings > Home screen and wallpaper > Always on Display to try it out.

Multi-Window:

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

Allows you to pick up voice and video calls on your phone from your Huawei laptop.

File Editing

Allows you to directly read and edit files on your phone from your Huawei laptop, and also share your phones’ network and sync notifications.

Optimizes the deterministic latency engine to provide you with a smoother system user experience.

[Battery]

Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. (This feature is enabled by default.)

Adds Huawei Assistant to the home screen, providing smart reminders personalized news, and other content relevant to you.

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Download from Support App: Go to Support app > Services ->Update > Check for updates.
