July 2022 HarmonyOS and EMUI updates

Huawei Mate XT Tri-Folding Phone pre-installed with HarmonyOS 4.2 system
Huawei has recently introduced its first tri-fold mobile phone, Mate XT Ultimate Design. The phone is available in two colors: Ruihong and Xuanhei, and is pre-installed with HarmonyOS 4.2 system. Huawei’s Mate XT 3-foldable phone does not support the multi-device task flow function of the HarmonyOS system, and cannot drag applications to “transfer” to other devices for use.
Huawei’s official website shows that some foldable screen phones do not support multi-device task flow in HarmonyOS 3.0 and later versions. The models are as follows:

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design tri-fold phone is available in two colors: Ruihong and Xuanhei, and three storage versions: 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
The new phone is only 3.6 mm thick and is equipped with a 10.2-inch “world’s largest” mobile phone folding screen . The rear lens adopts Huawei’s classic star diamond design, and the lens frame adopts a “unique” rock vein texture.
Huawei Mate XT is the first smartphone to achieve inward and outward bending of the hinge , and is equipped with the “Huawei Tiangong Hinge System”.

Huawei is all set for a major product launch event on September 19th in Barcelona. The lineup is expected to include new additions to the Huawei Watch GT series, potentially the Watch GT 5 and Watch GT 5 Pro. Huawei recently teased these products on social media, offering a glimpse of their design.
Ahead of the official unveiling, images of the Huawei Watch GT 5 46mm (VLI-B19) and GT 5 Pro 46mm (VLI-B29) have surfaced through NCC certification documents. These images reveal several key features:
