A key thing is the number of devices powered by HarmonyOS has exceeded 150 million. At this year’s Developer Conference, Huawei launched the latest version of HarmonyOS-HarmonyOS 3 Developer Preview. Huawei stated that HarmonyOS 3 continues to innovate around the three core values ​​of system architecture, super terminal, and one-time development of multi-terminal deployment.

The HarmonyOS 3 developer preview version brings new flexible deployment automation tools, and device developers can select the required components according to different hardware to complete the operating system assembly.

In addition, distributed technology has always been the core of HarmonyOS’s capabilities, allowing multiple devices to be freely combined and merged into a super terminal at the system level.

The HarmonyOS 3 developer preview released this time brings heterogeneous networking technology, allowing distributed capabilities to support more devices and better performance. For example, a mobile phone, smart screen, and 4 speakers can be combined into a 6-device super terminal, so that mobile video can also enjoy a large screen and 5.1-channel cinema-level experience; the combination of mobile phones, tablets, and PCs brings an upgraded version of the multi-screen collaboration. Three-screen collaboration improves office efficiency.

Ark Development Framework 3.0 (ArkUI 3.0) brings a new declarative UI framework, using TS/JS language, reducing the amount of cross-end application front-end development and design code, greatly improving efficiency and performance; Ark Compiler 3.0 (ArkCompiler 3.0) achieves cross-cutting The equipment is compiled uniformly, and it can run across terminals with only one compilation;

DevEco Studio 3.0 brings high-efficiency coding, cross-terminal collaborative debugging, multi-device integration testing and other tool upgrades, effectively improving the efficiency of cross-terminal application development; HarmonyOS SDK opens 6000+ TS/JS API capabilities to support efficient development of cross-terminal distributed experience.
