In December 2020, Huawei officially launched the HarmonyOS 2.0 (Hongmeng OS 2.0) mobile developer beta program for the selected devices such as Huawei P40, P40 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and MatePad Pro users.
The latest HarmonyOS 2.0 (Hongmeng OS 2.0) mobile developer beta update rolled out with a package size of 4.04GB and brought HarmonyOS 2.0 version 188.8.131.52 (SP2DEVC00E2R5P90) and so on.
During the launch event of the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta, the company said that it will expand the beta program to more devices in 2021.
The mobile phone version EMUI 11.0 and Honor Magic UI 4.0 version models will be upgraded according to the release time of the chip type. It is expected that all the upgrades will be completed this year. Some models of EMUI 10.1 and Magic UI 3.1 systems will also be directly upgraded to Hongmeng 2.0. Such as Huawei nova7SE/Honor 30S/Honor X10, etc.
