HarmonyOS 2.0 to support Android apps and better performance than EMUI 11

HarmonyOS 2.0/Hongmeng 2.0 mobile is set to debut in the smartphones/devices at the launch event on December 16. According to the info, Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2.0 will come with support for cross-platform device connection and smart interactions. As compared to the current cross-device experience, the HarmonyOS 2.0 will also have better multi-screen collaboration features and more EMUI 11 improved features.

There is some new information directly shared by Weibo tipster – CourageDigitalKing, the leak reveals that Huawei has already started distributing HarmonyOS 2.0 beta on smartphones. The tipster suggests that HarmonyOS 2.0 will be able to run Android apps and HarmonyOS apps in the same system to provide a 2 in 1 operating system. Note that the information may be for the developers and for more exact speculation we will see on the event.
